Habitat for Humanity Global Village volunteer teams travel to destinations in Europe, Africa, South America and Asia, raising funds to help those in need, building homes for families living in inadequate shelter and advocating for better living conditions for communities across the globe.

As a Global Village volunteer, you will travel to one of our destinations for two weeks with a group of other volunteers.

On location you will live and work alongside local people, carrying out construction work on site (from laying bricks to painting walls) and  participating in cultural activities off site. Our unique programme offers, not only the chance to build much needed homes, but the opportunity to build real relationships with communities in need and develop an understanding of the problems they face.

As part of our Global Village programme, you will fundraise to provide your team with the means to build new Habitat homes in the country you visit, as well as to raise awareness of inadequate housing and poverty issues at home.
