What is ‘Global Village’?
Our Global Village programme is a unique opportunity for enthusiastic and committed members of the Irish public to volunteer on Habitat projects overseas.
These trips are a hands-on, grassroots experience in which volunteers live and work alongside future homeowners, community members and local trade professionals.
This is an opportunity to have a fantastic experience overseas while making friends, challenging yourself, learning about a different culture and giving something back!
Small teams of volunteers travel for up to two weeks to various locations around the world. No construction experience is required as all training is provided onsite by skilled professionals. Throughout the process there is full support from Habitat for Humanity.
