Volunteer Overseas

Habitat for Humanity works in communities all around the world, helping them to build their way out of poverty.

By joining a Habitat team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers, you will get a hands-on, grass-roots experience, living and building alongside future homeowners, community members and local trade professionals.

This is an opportunity to have a fantastic experience volunteering overseas while making friends, challenging yourself, learning about a different culture and giving something back!

Don’t worry, no construction experience is required as all training is provided onsite by skilled professionals. Throughout the overseas volunteering process there is full support from Habitat for Humanity.

How can you get involved?

Closed Teams

Friends, corporate CSRs, schools, universities or church groups can sign up to build alongside families overseas, making a real difference to the lives of others.

Open Teams

An open team is made up of many individuals and smaller groups who can’t commit to getting a whole team together. It’s a great opportunity to meet new and like-minded people.
