Volunteering in Zambia

You are invited to join Habitat for Humanity and travel to Zambia in July 2012. You will work alongside other volunteers and community members to build simple, decent homes.

On location you will live and work alongside local people, carrying out construction work on site (from laying bricks to painting walls) and  participating in cultural activities off site. Our unique programme offers, not only the chance to build much needed homes, but the opportunity to build real relationships with communities in need and develop an understanding of the problems they face.

As part of our Global Village programme, you will fundraise to provide your team with the means to build new Habitat homes in the country you visit, as well as to raise awareness of inadequate housing and poverty issues at home.
