Steps to setting up a Habitat society in your university*:

  1. Gather a group of like minded students who are interested in Habitat’s aims
  2. Appoint an auditor, a treasurer and one other committee member
  3. Draw up a Constitution
  4. Collect 50-100 signatures of students who wish to see the society set up
  5. Write up an application and pass it by the society recognition committee
  6. If the application is passed, your Habitat society will exist on a probationary basis.
  7. Once this time has passed your Habitat society will be fully authorised with voting rights and eligibility for grants.
