Habitat for Humanity Ireland is committed to addressing housing needs in Ireland as well as overseas.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with local government authorities, other non-profits and communities to build and renovate houses in Dublin to allow low income families the opportunity to buy their own home.

Currently we are partnering with Dublin City Council to renovate four derelict homes in Inchicore, Dublin 8.  We have also recently launched a renovation project in partnership with St. Michael’s House, Finglas.

There are lots of ways to get involved with our Local Programme in Dublin. Here are just a few ideas:

Sign up to volunteer with us onsite!

Just like our overseas trips, no  construction experience in required. Demolition, painting, landscaping – there’s a job for everyone!

Are you a trade professional?

Help us by using your expertise onsite. Your skills will help us to keep the cost of the project low and make sure our houses are affordable for low income families.

Fundraise to support our projects!

Help us fund our work in Dublin! You could run a table quiz, run a marathon, do a sponsored silence or organise bag-packing in your local supermarket!

Donate construction material!

Donations of paint, tools and other construction materials are an enormous help! We also accept donations of household fixtures such as kitchens, bathrooms and carpets.

Introduce us to your company!

We have a new Learning and Development Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your team while investing in the local community!
