Teams that have previously visited Ghana may be summed up as: generally exciting, challenging but rewarding, an amazing and unforgettable experience, and an eye opener.
Ghana operate a uniquely balanced itinerary between Work and cultural activities that dazzle a visitor. Most evenings have varying cultural activities arranged for volunteers who are also given the opportunity to showcase some bit of their culture. If the attention from the Habitat staff and volunteers is not enough, probably the faces of happy kids in our communities will compensate for every volunteer’s happiness, and a feeling of being at home.
Requirements
Individuals open to learn about Ghana, experience living in a new culture and who are both energetic and euthusatic. NO CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
