Who we are

Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 in the United States by Millard and Linda Fuller.  Our mission is to eliminate poverty housing in Ireland and around the world  and to make decent housing a matter of conscience and action.

Habitat for Humanity Ireland is an independent, nonprofit organisation that operates in partnership with and on behalf of Habitat for Humanity International in Ireland.

The Irish office coordinates all aspects of Habitat for Humanity’s programmes in Ireland, including volunteer recruitment, fundraising and local renovation projects.
